The following answered roll call: Bryan; Goodell; Jewell;' Nelson; O'Herin'. Pyles,'Robbins. The following resolution was read: BE IT RESOLVED;by the City Council of the City of Pasco, that 17M14REdS; the duties of the City Attorney cffor said city have been greatly increased by reason of the taking over and purchase of the Municipal Water System and by reason of -the Citi Attorney's duties in connection therewith; and �,M',REAS,; there is a vacancy in the office of the City Attorney caused by the resignation of Charles W. Johnson; and MREAS " the appolltment to said position has been tendered to Edgard A. Davis,, an attorney -of Pasco and he has consented to accept said appointment upon the condition that there be allowed him in addition to the salary of said office the further sum of $60.00 a month for clerk hire and assistance:; amd M EREAS,' the cause of the additional work in.connection with the.daid-office'rose out of the management and operations of the rlunicipal Water System for the said city. it, B017 THEREFORE; be it resolved by the mayor and the city councilmen of the City of Pasco that upon his qualifying as city attorney of the said City of Pasco the said -Edward n Davis shall be entitled and shall receive in addition to the salary of $#0.00 per month the further sum of $60.00 pvc month as clerk hire and expense in con- nection with said office; said amount to be allowed and paid out of the Municipal Water fund. Oath of 11r, Davis read* Mr. Jeffreys of Seattle spoke in regard o t chief of police investigation. O'Herin seconde by Jewell moved that we adjourn. Upon roll call Bryan;' Goodell; Nelson ands Pyles voted N0. Robbins- Jewell',, O'Herin voted YES. After some discussion and about one hour Goodell seconded by Bryan moved that we adjourn.
