Docember 20, 1923.
The Council met in adjourped session with M^yor G:. -=on ptesiding.
The following answered roll. call; Bryan, Goodell, Jewell, Nelson, O'Herin, Pyles,
Engineer Murray recommended that Division One nd Two of contract be n%va.rded to the
Campbell Construction Company at their bid as follows: River York, ARNTCO 18' Mains,
ArmcoPipe 14' Wins, Matheson Joint Pipe 10' mains, Mather.on Joint pipe 12' mains,
Valves as specified. Equipment tsing altern::te De Laval Pumps and Motfors'substi.tuti$g
their ;alternate E Item 4 for use of General. Electric flow meter. instead. of venturi �
meter as specified and that the aouneil,�in case they decile to award The Campbell
Construction Company the eontrnct,authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a
contract upon approval of the bonds from the Yekirre Trust Company.
Division Three be awarded to the Chicago Bridge and,Iron Works for erection of tank and
in case the Council dedid:,s to a and contract they authorize the Mayor end City Clerk
to enter into contract with the Chic, -go Bridge a-nd Iron Works upon approval of bonds from
the Yakima Trust Company.
Letter from the Pasco Chamber of Commerce requesting a clause to be inserted into the
contract that local 1--bor m d material be used as much as possible was read.
Letter from Mayor Gannon in reply thereto was read.
Nelson seconded by Pyles moved that the letter from the Ch-'mber of Commerce be filed and
acted upon as fully as possible.

Letting of contracts.
Upon roll cal' gll councilmen voted YES.
Engineer Murray recommended that the certified check of the Empire Electric Company be
returned and other checks and bid bonds held.
Nelson seconded by Jewell moved that we accept recommendations of Mr. 1.1urray.
Carried.
Nelson seconded by Goodell move' that the City Clerk write the County auditor and esk that
he present a voucher for $5.00 in p-,yment of that pibrtion of land for right ofway at
10th and Lewis Streets.

Nelson seconde' by O'Herin moved that the meeting adjourn to December 31st �t 7:30 P. TH.
