Johnson for .';rl?,.00 for oode for police depattment was read. Nelson seconded by Goodell moved that the bill be 91lowed and w$rranr drawn for same. Hpon roll call all councilmen voted YES. Will include with regular bills and listed as voudher number 3577. Report of Police Judge Bean read. Nelson deoonded by Bryan moved that the report be accepted and: placed on file. Carried. Mr. Greene of A.G. Long and Company offered to ship a sewer cleaning machine for trial if they had one ut Seaitle of Portland. Nelson seconded by Goodell moved that the council take advan*tge of Mr. Greene's offer and have him ship in a machine for demonstratiAg purposes for cleaning sewers. Carrie d. M., at the Cit Hall, in the City of Pasco, be and the same is hereby fixed .s the time and ,glace for hea_ing and considerin• objections thereto, and eoualizinr- and confirming- said rolls; The Clerk of said city be and is hereby instructed to give notice of said hearing by publishing a copy of this resolution for t-.ao successive -issues in the Pasco Hearld, a weekly paper, at least fifteen days before the time fixed for said hearing. Goodell seconded by elson moved that the matter of receiving bids on the sidewalk for Owen's and Steffins amended Additions be continued until next meeting and clerk notify proppeictive bidders. Carrie d. O'Horin seconded by Robbins moved we adjourn. Upon roll call Goodell, O'Herinr.and Robbins voted YES, Jewell, Bryan, Pyles, and Nelson v8 to d 50. D. Butler appointed patrolman. The minutes of Sept. 18th were read and there being no obdections the Mayor d�o,lared they approved as read. Letter from Howard Cooper Corporation in regard to fire hose and water hydrants was read. O'Herin seconded by Goodell moved that the letter be placed on the table. Letter from Franklin County Irrigation -District No. 1, offering to lease the Snap River Pumping Plant to the City was read. Robbins seconde' by Jewell moved t -at the letter be plac d on the table.
