Report of Police Judge Bean read.
O'Herin secondel by Pyles moved that the City Clerk trite Drs Hamley _nd gammann and advise
them that tnless work of construction of sidewalk i,_ not in progress before next meeting
night it is the intention of the City Council to pass the ordinance.

Pyles seconded by Robbins moved that the proposed ordinance to declared to h ve had its
second reading and be give its third reacting by title only.
Carried.
Ordinance read third time by title only.
Pyles seconded by Robbins moved that the ordinance be passed and adopted as read.

Pyles seconded by Robbins moved that we enter into a contract with the Pacific Power and
+ Light Cohtpany to take over their water s;.,stem at $60000.00.
Upon roll call O'Herin voted NO. Bryan, Goodell, Jewell, Nelson, Pyles, end Robbins YES.
Robbins seconded by Nelson moved that tau engineer Murray's report on water system be
continued for final consideration on Thursady September 6th t 8. P. M.

RESOLUTION FIXING ND ADOPTING PPELIIdIN RY BUDGET.
Whereas, the City Council of the Citynof Padco met in regular session on Tuesd,y, the 4th
day of Septe Aber, 1923, to consider the preliminary budget for the City of Pasco for tho
year 1924, and having mde such revisions or additions as deemed advisable in said budget
-s submitted by the city clerk of the said city of Pasco,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the said preliminary budget so considered
be and the same is hereby ord red placed on file for the information of any tax payer who
may call attthe office of the City Clerk for information concerning same or for copies
thereof: and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of P seo give due notice
that sdd preliminary budget is on file and that the City Council will meet on Monday, the
first day of October, 1923, at the hour of 8 o'clock at the City Hall in the City of P sco
for t e purpose of fixing the final busget and making tax Bevied in accordance therewith;
that the clerk cause such n6tice to be published once each week for two succ•es:�ive weeks
immediatel$ following this resolytion.

The following ansured roll call; Bryr,n, Goodell, Nelson, and Pyles.
Mr. R. B. Cady spoke in regard to the City paying for the expense of obtaining and
engineer to figure approximatelt what it would cost to pipe the city for gas.
No action taken.

O'Herin second dby Goodell moved that we concur in that part of the engineers repor,
pertaining to where the supply of water is to be derived from.
Carried.
Pyles seconded by Bryan moved that one 850 gal pump be run from October 1st to 11ptil 1st,
one 1200 gal pump from Aptil lst to Pctobe r 1st and one 1000 gallon pump from June 1st to
September is t.
Carried.
O'Herin seconded by Nelson moved that we concur zrith and .ccept engineer Murray's report
as revised.
Carried.

curb on said South Side of East A Street ^nd provdd.ing for the payment of said work by

Nelson seconded by Goodell moved that the rules be suspended and ordinance be passed
and adopted as read cnd be give No. 342.
