July 17, 1923.
The Council. met in regular session with Myyor Gannon presiding.
The following answwred roll call: Bryen, Goodell, M reh, O'Herin, Pyles, and Robbins.
The minute:- of July 3rd were read and there being no ob$detions the Mayor doclared them
apptoved as read.

O'Herin seconded by Hoodell moved that the bill be allowed and warranr drawn for same
and charged to Current Expense fund to be refunded from Public Utility Fund as soon as
available.
Hpon roll call all councilmen voted YES.
O'Herim seconded by Robbins moved jhat we suspend regular order of business and take up
bond bids.
Carried.
The following bids were read.

Yakima Trust Co, Yakima Par and 150.00 premium.
The council went into executive session to talk over bids and then returned for more
information o$ the Y�k ima Trust Company bid and took up regular order of business awaiting
information.
O'Herin seconded by Goodell moved th t the report of Mr. P. M. Murray on appraisement
of Pacific Power and bight Company plant aasread by the clerk be accepted.
Carried.
Pyles seconded b; Bryan moved that the City Clerk tender the Pacific Power abd Light Co, 'I
$56723.00 for present water system aid such offer be accepted within ten days.
Carried.

O'Herin seconde' by Pyles moved that the Mayor select amatron to serve at the depot �
between the hours of 9 P. M. and 4 A. M. at a salary of $80.00 per month for the months
of August and September 1923, half of salary to be paid by the City and half by the Ii'
Railroad Company and to start Aupust 1st,. Name to be submitted at next regular meeting o
City Council and the matron to be given polcie powers and mayor notify Mr. Qhhnnon as to
selection.

O'Herin seconded by March moved that an license be granted.
Carried.
Application of Pasco Club for a pool hall and soft drink, license was read.
March seconded by Pyles koved that a license be granted,
Carried.

Robbins seconded by Goodell moved that the license be granted.

The water committee recommended that we purchase as much more water as we are now getti
and put city back to every other day schedule.
Pyles seconded by Robbins moved that we request an allowance equal to what we are now
receiving to be paid for pro rata for balance of season at rate ultimately determined Upon

O'Herin semonded by Goodell move' that the purchasing agent be instructed

Upton roll call all councilmen voted YES.
A petiton for lights was presented by Mr. Goodell. Lights to be installed
at interesections of Myrtle, Walnut, Chestnut amd Maitland Streets.

Light Company and request then to install lights.
