The Counnil met in regular session with Mayor Gannon

I� The minutes of Feb. 20th were read and there being no objections the mayor declared them The following answered roll call: Bryan, Goodell, March, Nelson, O'Herin,
approved as read. The special meeting was called for the purpose of passing upon the fir trunk.

Nelson seconded by Bryan moved that the bills be allowed and that the police depattment
make a check on all lights and turn in report each month.
Upon roll calk all councilmen voted YES.
Bill of $150 of Levi Clayton for street work during February presented.
'I Pyles seconded by Nelson moved that bill of Clayton be allowed and paid under voucher

Upon roll call all councilmen voted YES.
Letter from N. 71. Fire Appar**us go read.
Nelson seconde by Bryan moved teat the letter be placed on file. Carried.
jMr. Lillie spoke in regard to the library ordinance in regard to salary and monthly reports
Robbins seconded by Pyles moved that the city attorney give us a ruling on library ordinance
No. 92 in regard to salary and monthly reports.
Carried.
Robbins seconded by Nelson moved that City Attorney prepare petition to bring Blocks 2, 3,
and 4 Gantenbeins Addition into sewer district and create local improvelpent district to
defray expenses. Carried.
{ Nelson seconded by Pyles moved that the Pacififf Power and Light No be instructed to place
a 75 watt lamp at the corner of 5th and Bonneville Streets.
Carried.
Bill of Allan Kurtzman for deed to street presented,/
O'Herin seconded by Nelson moved the bill be allowed and warrant drawn for same under
voucher number 3202.
Upon roll call all councilmen voted YES.
O'Herin seconded by Pyles moved that the council give the Civic Club permission to improve
I �parking strips in the center of Lewis and Fourth Streets Carried. Nelson voting NO.
O'Herin seconded by March moved that the matter of cindering Seventh and Columbia streets
IF ! be referred to the street and alley committee with power to act.

Robbins secondod by Belson moved that application of F.L. Pyles for a street light be grante
Motion withdrawn.
O'Herin seconded by Nelson moved that the City Attorney be authorized to take steps necessar
to bring about the enforcement og Pacific Power and Ligth Co's Cluster Light franchise 423.

lodging houses, rooming house and hotels.
