The follwoing answered rollacalls, Goodell-, Haylett, Nelson, and Robbins. and being no objections them approved as read. the Mayor deolarod HW lett acted as Mayor Pro -Tem. Dr. H. F. Kammann, Health Offivier, made a report as to conditions in the City. Burt Bryan Councilman at large Lvtter from J. Shannon in regard to sewer to round house wascread. F. W. Nelson Councilman unexpired two year term. Robbins seconde' by Haylett moved that City Clerk reply to Shannon advising him to Levi Pyles' Councilman 4 year term open up sewer and in the future to allow no cinders or boiler scales or similar J. T.Sargait matefial to enter the sewer, that some arrangement be made by them to protect sewer W. W. Robbins " and haul away sucll material. Carried. Cartisd. Letter in regard to fuel oil for laying dust wascread. Application of Geo. L. Jessop to operate a soft drink establishment in the Cunningham Nelson seconded by Robbins moved that the meeting adjourn. base-.ient was read. Carried. Robbins seconded by Goodell moved that the license ire granted. Carried. Passed for approval this 6 day of Dec. 1922. Application of W. A. Pike to operate a pool hall and soft drink establishment at the Lucky pDol hal l on 'tasomma Avenue was read. Robbins second;dby March moevd that the license be granted. Carried. Robbins seconded by Nelson moved that A. F. Sylvester be granted a license to operate _ City Clerk. a pool hall, card room and soft $rink establishment in the Pasco Hotel. Carried. Passed and approv d this day o3 Dec. 1922. Report of Police Judge Cox was read. BHaylett seconded by Robbins moved that the report be accepted and placed on file. Carried. ResiM- ation of J. T. Sragent as councilman was read. City Clerk. March seconded by Nelson moved the sresignation be accepted. December 19, 1922. Carried. The following bids were received on fire equpiment. The Council met in regular session with Mayor Warden presiding. Blackwell. Motor Co -1 ton Reo Spee Wagon complete- $4750.00 The following answered roll call: Goodell, Haylett, and Robbins, Pasco Buick. 3 ton GMC chassis $2310 and 2ton Chassis $3180. Haylett seconded by Goodell moved that meeting adjourn until Dec, 30th owing to a lack of White Motor Truck Co. -i ton chassis $3947.65 a quorum. Carried. Northwestern Fire Apparatus Co. Equipment only $2490 deduction of $350 allowed for Passed for approval this , day of Dec. 1922. old equipment to be placed with new. American La France Fire Engine Co. Brockwa truck 6250.
