The following answered roll call: Goddell, Haylett, Robbins, and Sargent. Goodall was appointedon the Financ comittee. The Minutes of Sept. 19, Oct. 2, and 3 rd were read and there being no objections the Mayor declared them approved as read. The following bills approved by the claims committee were reads Voucher number Claimant Distribution Amount. 2888 C. W. Robbins seconded by Goddell moved that the Police Judge be requested to r port for months of July August, September and October not later than November -1st, first meeting in Nov. and for every stcceeding month on the first meeting night of each month and that the treasurer's receipt be a t for all money collected b* attached. Carried. AN ORDINANCE, GRANTING TO THE UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, A CORPORATION ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, PERMISSION TO LOCATE, ERECT, OPERATE, AND MAINTAIN A WAREHOUSE OR TANKAGE, OR BOTH, FOR THE STORAGE, SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF PETROLEUM AND ITS PRODUCTS was read. Robbins seconded by Goodell moved that the ordinance be passed and adopted as read. Upon roll call all councilmen present voted YES. AN 0 RDINANCE DEDICATING CERTAIN LAND FOR STREET PURPOSES AND DESIGNATING SAME AS AN EXTENSION OF TENTH AVENUE was read. Goodell seconded by Sargent moved that the ordinance be passed and adopted as read. Upon roll call all councilmen present voted YES. AN ORDINAYCE RELATING TO THE USE MF THE PUBLIC HIGHI+IAYS OF THE CITY OF PASCO OPEN TO TEE PUBLIC FOR THE USE OF VEHICLES: PROVIDING PENA'DTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING CERTAIN ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINACES was read. Robbins seconded by Haylett moved that the ordinance be passed and adopted as read. Upon roll call all councilmen present voted YES. Robbins seconded by Sargent moved that an extract of the traffic ordinance be placed in pamphlet form. Carried. Robbins seconded by Sargent moved that the Pacific Pvwer abd Light Co. be instructed to wire and replace broken globes on the cluster lights that are now out. Same to ber_done in a condition so that it will be permanent and to be done before Oct. 21st. Carried. Haylett seconded by Robbins moved that the City Clerk notify the health officier to make a monthly report. Carried. Robbins seconded by Goodall moved that the meeting adjourn. Carried. Precinct 2- Mrs Clara Hick, H. V. Banks, and F. L. Eaton, Precinct 3- Mrs Kate Smith, E. F. Campbell and R. M. Banks. Precinct 4- Mrs K. S. Koontz, Mrs Matlda Wallis and Peawl Cornwell Pr,otnot 5- M. Upon roll call all councilmen voted YES. Appliaction of W. D. Pence for soft drink establishment was read. Goodell seconded by March moved that a license be granted. Carried. Petition for light at Ainsworth and 13th Sto was presented by several partied. No action. Letter from Mr. Anderson was read in regard to Pasco's quota for the fight for reduction of rates of thePacific Power and Light. Sargent seeohdal"by March moved that the City Clerk be autorized to write Mr. Anderson at G and advise him that Pasco will pay $170, its quota, in effort to reduce Pacific Power and Light Co rates providing it can be financed to put it thru.
