Sept. 8th , 1922.
The Council met in adjourned session to pass on the coal bids received.
Mayor Warden called the meeting to order and the follruing answered roll call:
Haylett, March. Sargetn, Boodell, and Robbins.
The coal bids were opened. Rob -;ins acted as clerk in the absence of Puchner.
Haylett seconded by Nelson moved that the bid of gleeb Lumber Yard of $9.20
per ton for mine run be accepted.
Carried.
Robbins seconded by March moved that Haylett be sent to the good roads meeting
at Ellensburg on Sept 15th and 16th.
Carried.
Haylett seconded by Sargent moved that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.

The Council met in regular session with Mayor Warden presiding.
The following answered roll call: Goodell, Haylett, Robbins, and Sargent.
The minytes of Sept. 6th were read and there beingmno objections the Mayor
declared them approved as regd.Goodell appointed on finance committee.
The following bills approved by the claims committee were read:

Robbins seconded by Sargent m6ved that the bills be allowed and warrants drawn
for same.
Upon roll call all councilmen voted YES.
Communication from Pacific Power and Light Co in regard to water for Gray's East
Riverside addition was read.
Resolved that if a m nicipalt water system is established the cift will take over
distributing system that the residents of Gray's East Riverside addition might ha
and reimburse them therfor.
Haylett seconded by Robbins moved that the resolution be adopted.
Upon roll call all councilmen present voted YES'
Robbins secondee' by Goodell moved that the meeting adjourn.

The Council met in special session to consider the adoptdon of a budget for 1823.
Mayor Warden presided and the following.answered roll call:Haylett;Maroh, He lson, Robbins,
and Sargent.
Clerk read statement from Mrs J. M. Arnett, County Assessor, giving the amount of assessed
valuation for the City of Pasco as $1,679,294.
Clerk read the budget as finally prepared and read the follwoing resolution:
RESOLUTION FIXING TAX LEVY.
WHEREAS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO;,WASHINGTOX;N having met as required by law
this first Monday, the 2nd day of October, 1922, for the purpode of fixing amount to be
raised by taxation in the city for the ensuing year, and finding no objection to the
itemized estimate heretofore published: Be it therefore determined; ordered and directed
that taxes be levied on the property in the said City as follows; to -wit:

It is further ordered and directed that the foregoing be and the same is hereby
adopted as the Budget of the City of Pasco for the ensuing year and that taxes be levied on
the assessed property of the sold City of Pasco in amounts as follows,to-wit; For Current
Expenses, $25140.00: for RedelLption fund; $1600: for interest on Bonds, $3200.00; Library
fuid $2500. Total to be levied for all purposes; 132440.
That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the County Auditor in and for Franklin
County, for extension on assessment books, as provided by law.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of October, 1922.
