The Council met in regular session with Zbyor Warden presiding.
The fol_leeing answered roll call: Goodell, Hoylett, March, Nelson, Robbins, and Sargeht.
The minutes of Feb. 7 and 9 were read and there being no objections the Mayor declared them
approved as read.

Nelson seconded by Robbins moved that the bills be allowed and warrants drawn
for same. Upon roll call all Councilmen present voted YES.
A resolution IN RE THE VACATION OF TEN FEET ON EACH SIDE OF FIFTH, SIXTH, AND SEVENTH
STREETS IN GANTENBEINS ADDITION TO PASCO, WAS&INGTON FRANKLIN COUNTY, WASHIR TON, was read.
Nelson seconded by Robbins moved that the resolution be adopted. Carried.
Report of Police Judge Cox was read.
Nelson seconded by Goodell moved that the report be filed. Carriid.
Nelson seconded by Sargent moved that the City Council of The City of Pasco resolve that
the amount of money to the credit of the City State Highway Maintenance fund be paid Franklin
County for improvement of North Fourth Street and East Lewis Street upon proper vouchers and
that the County Commissioners agreeing to grade West Lewis and Tenth Street to briggr The
City Council will set aside $2000.00 out of the street fund of the City o Pasco to be
expended by the County upon proper vouchers to complbte work. City waive road and bridge
fund to be expended on West LewisStreet and South Tenth. County to,furnish additional
funds.
Upon roll call all Councilmen voted YESL
Nelson seconded by Robbins moved that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.

The Following resolution was read.
WHEREAS, THE CONSTRUCTION ENFGINEER of Franklin County has prepared certain tans and spe-
cifications for the improvement of Lewis street from the end of the present pavement west
to Tenth and on Tenth Avente from Lewis Street solath to Washington Street, which said plans
and specifications are hereby approved by the City Council of Pasco Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco proposes to expend on said streets in improverients according to
said plans and specifications the sum of�2000.00,
NOW THERFOR BE IT RESmLVED. that the said Construction Engineer of Said Franklin County be and
is hereby authorized empowered and employed to ptoeeed with theimprovement of said streets
according to said plans and specifications and that the said City of Pasco pay for the labor
of so doing to the amount and extent of $2000.00 and no more, said sum to be paid as said
work proceedapu and that all bills incurred in such construction work to the amount aforesaid
be turned to the said city, which hereby undertakes and agrees to pay the same to an amount
not exceeding $2000.00.
WHEREAS, it further appear that Franklin County Washington is indebted to said city for the
cities nerportion of the Raod and Bridal Fund for the years 1 19-20-2@ and 22 BE IT RESOLVED
That the said county be and hereby is authorized to expend such sumV or sums on said streets
in carrying out the improvement according to said plans and specifications, upon the under-
standing and agreement on the part of said county that it will fully complete said improvement
except for the $2000.00 above mentioned, for the said monies so awing the city from the county
and that the city in consideration thereof hereby waives alll claims on said road and bridge
fund for the years aforesaid. Passes this 7th day of March 1922. H. Warden, Mayor

Haylett seconded by Nelson move that the resolution ab read be adopted.
Upon roll call all councilmen voted YES.
The following resolution was read:
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco, has received from the State of Washington, Primary Highway Main-
tenance money in the sum of Two thousand Eight Hundred Elevena($2811.00) dollars, and
WHEREAS, of this sum only Five Hundred Ninety -One (591.00) Dollars have been expended for
the Maintenance of Primary Highways within the Limits of The City Of Pasco, and
WHERAS, the Coulty of Franklin has agreed to furnish and place crush d rock on the Primary
Highways within the Limits of the City of Pasco at actual cost, now therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pasco, that this is deemed to be the most
economical method of maintaining said primary highways, and be it further,
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Pasco, do orddr set a side and apart from any
monies of the City of Pasco the sum of Two Thousand Two Hundred Tw enty ($2220.00) Dollars,
same being approved by the representative of the Highway Conunissioner of theis district and sa,
that said sum be paid upon the presentation of prop or vouchers.
