The following answered roll call: Goodell, Haylett, March, Reynolds, and Robbins
The minutes of November Ist were read and there being no objections the Mayor declared
them aopdoved as read. Councilman Johnson appears.
The following bills approved by the claims committe were read:

Robbins seconded by Haylett moved that the bills be allowed and warrants drawn for same.
Roll call: Goodell, Haylett, March, Reyn Ids, Robbbins, and Johnson voted YES.
Communication from Governor Hart to Chief of Police in regard to a meeting to be held in
Seattle read.
Robbins seconded by March moved that Chief of Police attend meeting at Seattle and present
bill at next council meeting.
Carried.
Hohnson seconded by Goodell moved that chief of Police enforse provisions of quarantine
as issued by state authorities.
Carried.
Reynolds seconded by Robbins moved that Police Departme,t be authorized to employ assistanp
from time to time to aid in enforcement of Ordinances.
Carried.
Councilman March asked to be excused for the rest of the ebening and Mayor Warden excused him.
Johnson seconded by Reynolds mover; that a comittee of three be appointed, with Dr. Robbins
as chairman, to draft a new traffic ordinance and report at the next meeting.
Carried.
Mayor Warden appointed Haylett and Reynolds as two other members on the traffic ordinance
committee.
Applicatimn of Edgar L. Simpson to operate a soft drink parlor at cunningham Bar read.
Johnson seconded by Robbins moved that a license be granted.
Carried.
Application of John Leftakis to operate a soft drink establishment at Moose Bar read.
Goodell seconded by Johnson moved that a license be granted.
Carried.
Robbins seconded by Reynolds moved that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.

Petition of School Board tohave the new school grounds put
in the sewer district read.
Nelson seconded by Robbins moved that the petition of the
school board be a:cepted and
City Attorney draw up ordinance for enlargement of sewer district.
Carried.
Nelson seconded by Robbins moved that the School Board be
allowed to construct sidewalk
according to architects p lan according to established grade
on Yakima and Third.
Carried.
Communication from Library Board in regard to improvements
for library read,(Cunnimgham
Application of Walter Mee to operate a pool hall and soft
drink establishment read. Bar.
Reynolds seconded by Hayllet moved that license be granted.
Carried.
Application of Graham Bros tp operate a pool hall and soft
drink establishment in Paeoo
Club read.
Nelson seeonddd b.- Goodell moved that license be granted.
Carried.
Reynolds seconded by Nelson moved that City Clerk be instructed to call for bids for
repair work outlined by Library Board.
Carried.
T. Doi and Ed Dyer appeared to give cause why thtir licenses should not be revoked.
B. B. Horrigan acted as attorney for both parties.
Nelson secomded by Robbins moved that action be suspended
on revocation of T. Doi's
license depending on good behavior.
IIarried.
Robbins seconded by Nelson moved that action be suspended
on ED. Dyer depending on good
behavior. Carried.
Nelson seconded by Goo dell moved that the meetin adjourn.
Carried.
