The following answered roll call: Goodell, Haylett, Johnson amd Robu,inc. Goodell seconded by Robbins moved that the bid of Kleeb Lumber Yard for one car of Rosyl Idine run at X9.40 per ton be accepted for immediate delivery. All councilmen concurring the motion carried. Ar,nlication to connect ftto sewer was made for the new school. Johnson seconded by Goodell moved that the matter be referred to the City rttorney. Carried. Johnson seconded by Goodell moved that the Purchasing agent be instructed to get an4 i engineer to establish grade for sidewalk on the East side of N. Oregon street commencingll at intersection of Lewis Street and continuing one blocIz Borth. Carried. Johnson seconded by Robbins moved that the Pacific Power and Light Co. be instructed to place a 100 candle poorer light, similar to ones now used, at the intersection of East Lewis and Elm Street. Haylett seconded by Nelson moved that the Pacific Power and Light Co. be instructed to install a hydrant at intersection of East Lewis and Elm Streets on the North side of Lerri�. Carried. Councilman Reynolds appears. Nelson seconded by March moved that the Street and lley committee report at the next meeting as to what width they recommend that the sidewalks should be on Oregon Street. Carried. Nelson seconded by Goodell moved that the proposed Street Lighting Contract be referred to t' -:e City :.ttorney. Carried. Application of Geo Demes to operate a soft drink parlor at Moose Bar read. Nelson seconded by Robbins moveel that the application be rejected. , Carried. Nelson seconded by Haylett moved that no action be taken in the Tom @an matter as there was no direct evidence against hLm so that his license shoald be revoked. Carried. Goodell seconded by Nelson moved that City Clerk serve notice on C. Di6i to appear before the Council on Nov. 15th to give cause wh;r his license should not be revoked. Carried . Haylett seconded by I:n.rch moved that the matter of dog license be referred to the City -,ttorney and he give a copy of his opinion to the Chief of Police and he act accordi.ngl;T.
