May 3, 1921.
Th e Council met in regu'ar session with Mayor *,7ardeh presiding.
The following answered roll c^11: Goodell, HtW lett, Johnson, Harch, Nolson, New,lan, Rupple.
The minutes of April 19 were read and there being no objections the Mayor declared them
a• proved as read.

Newman seconded by Nelson moved that the bills as read be allowed and warrants drawn.

Application of :. E McKee for permission to cross sidewd,lks to service station on Lot 8 of
Block 22 of 1,1 P Addition to the City of Pasco and from service station to across sidewalk
facing Lewis Street to the Street and Vice Versa.
(Haylett seconded by Rupple moved that the application be granted and that sane can be
revoked at will of the Council. Goodell, HEylett, Johnson, March, Nddson, Newman and Rupple
voting YES.
ITowman seconded by Haylett moved that the bid of Clarence Sager be accepted and the City -.tt
Attorney draw up contract as to the second elause so much per family and that the certified
check of F. 3'. Juvenal be returned to hi -n. Carried.
_,pplication of P P Fitzpatrick to operate pool heal and soft drink establishment read.
Johnson seconded by March moved application be granted. Carried
application of J. LAViolette to operate soft drink establishment at Air Dome pavilion.
Newman seconded by Goodell moved that license be granted. Carried.
Newman seconded by Nelson moved that City Attorney be instructed to get correct deed for
property which agreed to be vanated by Sisters of St Joseph to City,at intesection of
'South Line of Nixin with 'past line fifth to point North, N W Corner Blocic 4 Sylvesters Part:
_addition, Carried.
nelson seconded by Johnson moved to discontinue the Special Police. Carried.
H. Boimnell apuointed by Idayor as regular patrol man.
ITewman seconded by Goodell moved that appointment be confirmed. Carried.
ITewman seconded by Nelson moved that the special man be kept on including May 7. Carried.
ITewman seconded Nelson moved that bill of the P.P LQ for library which c=me in late be
included in regular bills. Roll Call: Goodell, Haylett, Johnsen, March, Nilsen, Newma-.,,
and Rupple voting Yes.
ThD matter of street lights was referred to a contimittee, same being Nelson, Newman and
Haylett who are to melt with the City Attorney.
Newman seconded by Goodell moved that proposed ordinance be given first reading. Carried.

ewman seconded by Johnson moved that Mr. Berghausen be allowed to plant Catalpa trees
�etw_len the Locust trees in the parking around his place on the corner of Clarke and Fifth
treats and that the Locust trees are to re.ain in their place until it is sure and the Col:ncil
is satisfied that the Catalpas will grow or live. Carried.

r irrigation water in the parking strips in center of Lewis and North Fourth Streets.
Carried.

Newman seconded by Rupple moved that the City Attorney bring in a resolution,as indicated,
by fiscal agents map as to delimiting part of the City of Pasco. Carried.
