The following answe_ed roll call: Haylett, Johnson, March, Nelson, and Newman. The minutes ofApril 5th, werehread and there being no objections the Tlfayor declared them approved as read. Johnson seconded by March moved that matter be deferred until the next meeting so that it world give all an adequate time to investigate. Carried. Resignation of R. B. Cady as councilman was read. l;ewman seconded by March moved that the resignatio n be accepted. Carried. Haylett seconded by Nelson nominated H. C. Rupple to fill the unexpired term of R. B. Cady. Johnson seconded by Haylett moved that the nominations be closed. Roll call: Haylett:, Johnson, Idarch and Neeson voting Yes. Newman not voting. Haylett seconded by Nelson moved that Rupple be elected to fill the unexpired term of It. B. Cady. Roll ca71: Haylettq: Johnson, March, Nelson, and Newman voting Yes. Permission to tap Irrigation main for Block 2 Steffins amended ad7.ition was read. Irewman seconded by March moved that as this was not in the irrigation district the re- quest could not be granted. Carried. Haylett seconded by Nelson moved that the matter of redistricting the City be deferred ,intil the next meeting. Carried. 1-r.
