Davis,seconded by Newman,moved that the Chief of Police make an investigation and ascertain what sidovialks are in need of repair,report same to the City Clerk,who will notify property owners to make repairs. carried. Councilman Haylett presented a communication from the 4,cshington Surveying and rateing bureau,recomending improvement in the Fire Depatrtment• Davis seconded by Cady, moved that the Communication be placed on file. carried.
