Council met in regular se;•sion,following named councilmen ans,.ering
roll call, viz; Aldrich, Cady, Davis, Olsen, and Stinson,Mayor Henderson
presiding.
Clerk read minutes of July lst.mecting,no objections being made the
Mayor ordered minutes approved as read.
Clerk road following bills which were approved by the Claims Committee.

Moved by Davis, seconded by Aldrich, that bills as allowed by claims
committee be approved and clerk is,,--ue warrants to cover. Motion carried
by acclamation.
Clerk read communication from Cox Investment Co. regarding Insurance
on Library Building =nd contents.
Moved by Aldrich, seconded by Stinson, that communication be reffered
to Library Board. Motion c^rried by acclamation.
Clerk read report of committee in claim of hfrs.H.C.Adams.
Moved by Davis, s,^conded by Cady, that the report be accepted and City
Attorney authorized to offer 425.00 in settlement of cl,:im,
Motion cr.rried by ccl-mation.
Committee on P--blic Property m�-de report with request that City Pur-
cha,-ing Agent be instructed to sell one street sprinkler.
Moved by Cady,seconded by Davis, that the purchasing a,^ent notify
';lalla Jalla, Authorities that they can purchase one of the G'ater Tanks
at Five Hundred Dollars. Notion carried by acclamation.
Clerk read resolution for supplying water to blocks Four and Five
in Sylvestere Park Addition to the City of Pasco.
Moved by Davis,seconded by Stinson,Thaft the resolution be adopted.
Motion c•�rried by acclamation,and resolution given Plumber 31.
A.F.Wehe presented his resignation as Police Justice.
Motion by Cady, seconded by O1son,Thct resignation of A.F.tiehe be
accepted. Motion carried by Acclamation.
Mayor. L. C. Henderson appointed Herman Wardeft ,Police Justice.
Motion by Davis,seconded by Aldrich, that appointment bp confirmed.
Carried by acclamation,<all councilmen concurring
Bond of United States Fidelity .nd Guarantee Co. in sum of X1000.00
presented by A.F.Wehe as bond for City Clerk,same being approved by the
City Attorney.
Motion by Aldrich, seconde,' by Ras%B,Olson, that Street "a-=izL ,
be instructed to sand the paved streets of the City.
Carried by acclamation.
A communication from E.V.Wickey,Vice. President Central Labor Union,
presented by I•.r.0.S.Benjamin, read by City Clerk,requesting that speeds
of Autos be reduced,and Traffic Ordinance be enforced.
Motion by Stinson, seconded by Davis, That City Clerk be instructed
to publish,in the P-.sco aerald,a notice calling attention to Traffic Law
.end warn speeders and other violators,th.ey must conform to same.
Idotion by Olson,and seconded,That the IDuurchasing Agent be allowed to ssY
sell the old City Auto Truck to best advantage.
Carried by acclamation.
