Johnson presented petitionto vacate aportion of Gray's Last Riverside Addition to Pasco. Moved by Davi!-, seconded by Stinson, that the vAtter be referred to cijr Attorney and City Clerk to tak snchsteps as acessary. Motion carried, all councilmen c ncurring. CHief of Police stated that it was necessary to purchase two new tires for the city truck. Moved by Stinson, seconded by Aldrich that the matter be referred to clams committee for action. Motion carried. Moved by Aldrich, seconded by Haylett, that the committee on public property be authorized to sell the street sprinklers and for the city attorae,, to make such publication as will legalize the sale. Moved by Cady, seconded by Jlsen that the communication be placed on file. Motion carried by acclamation. Clark brought up tho matter of claim of Mrs. H. C. Adams for damage to automobile on "A" Street. Moved by Stinson, seconded by Davis that the matter of claim of Mrs. A'ams be laid over until next regular meeting. Motion carried by acclamation. Moved by Olsen, seconded by Aldrich that city clerk's resignation be accepted. Motion carried by acclamation. Moved by Stinson, seconded by Aldrich that the street committee spend the amount of $11.77 in the State Highway funds. Motion carried by acclamation. Mayor appointed A. F. Viehe City Clerk to take place of Clerk Dolan. Moved by Davis, seconded by Stinson that the appointment of Mr. lNehe be confirmed by vote of council. Motion carried, all cov.neilmen concurring.
