Clerk read voucher in favor of F. W. Lamberton in the sum of $35.00
for work on park. Moved by Stinson, seconded by Olsen that claim of F. W,.
Lamberton be allowed and clerk issue warrant to cover. Motion carried.
Moved by Olsen, seconded by Stinson that the city wlerk draw warralts for
1919 maintenance in accordance with the city's contract, on funds of the local
improvement districts in the following amounts, viz: L.I.D. No. 25, $150.00
L. I. D. No. 43, y2M00.00 and L. I. D. No. 44, $900.00. Motion carried.
Clerk read cor;munication from H. V. Wexler, al-kin;- for refrnd of $102.00 ,
account fine paid for impounding sheep during the month of June.
Moved by Stinson, sec,nded by Olsen, that co--munication be laid ager
until next regular meeting. Motion carried.
Clerk read plans ani specifications of R. A. Kling for a gasoline
service station which he proposed installing at the corner of 2nd and Lewis
Streets, and requesting permit to install same.
Moved by Stinson, seconded by Cady that matter be laid over until
next regular meeting. Motion withdrawn.
Moved by Olsen, seconded by Aldrich, that application of R. A. Klinge
be denied. Motion carried.
Clerk read the following resolution.
RESOULTION
VMREAS, the owners of Blocks 4 and 5 of SYlvester's Park Addition
I
to Pasoa, hsve requested permission to connect the said property with
the general sewer sF tem of said city, and WHEREAS, it appears that said
property is not in either of sewer districts of said city, but it adjacent
thereto, and so situated that it may be served from the sewersystem,
IMMREAS, it further anpears that sai d pr operty has not been asses: ed,
for any of the general construction costs of said sewer system, NOW THERE-
FORE, be it resolved that the said property owners of said blocks, or of
either of said Blocks, be and are hereby authorized to connect with said
sewer system on the following terms, and conditions;

FIRST: That said property owners shall pay to the city Treasurer,
for the benefit of the dewer Rind of the city, such sum as the CITY Treas-
urer shall determine wo ld be equal to the ammmt assessed, against other
property, of like amount and similarly situated for the construction costs
of said sewer system.
SECOND: That said propertyowners shall make said connections, :7th
said sewer system, ani put in sewer pipes sufficient for thir needs, at
thea own expense, * ieh work shall be dc,ne only upon and in conformity
to plans aild specifications, which shall be approvelby the sewer inspector
of the City of Pasco.

C. W. Johnson presented petitionto vacate aportion of Gray's Last Riverside
Addition to Pasco.
Moved by Davi!-, seconded by Stinson, that the vAtter be referred to cijr
Attorney and City Clerk to tak snchsteps as acessary. Motion carried, all
councilmen c ncurring.
CHief of Police stated that it was necessary to purchase two new tires for
the city truck.
Moved by Stinson, seconded by Aldrich that the matter be referred to clams
committee for action. Motion carried.

sprinklers.
Moved by Aldrich, seconded by Haylett, that the committee on public
property be authorized to sell the street sprinklers and for the city attorae,,

Clark read communicati on from Spokane Palter and 'Stationary Co. relative
to tires for street truck.
Moved by Cady, seconded by Jlsen that the communication be placed on file.
Motion carried by acclamation.
Clark brought up tho matter of claim of Mrs. H. C. Adams for damage to
automobile on "A" Street.
Moved by Stinson, seconded by Davis that the matter of claim of Mrs. A'ams
be laid over until next regular meeting. Motion carried by acclamation.
Clerk read report of Police Justice. ..loved by Davis, seconded by Cady

accepted. Motion carried by acclamation.
Moved by Stinson, seconded by Aldrich that the street committee spend
the amount of $11.77 in the State Highway funds. Motion carried by acclamation.
Mayor appointed A. F. Viehe City Clerk to take place of Clerk Dolan.
Moved by Davis, seconded by Stinson that the appointment of Mr. lNehe be confirmed
by vote of council. Motion carried, all cov.neilmen concurring.
