Moved by Aldrich, seconded by Davis, that councilman.Stinson be granted a
leave of ab,�ence. I.Iotion carried by acclamation.
Moved by Davis, seconded by Olsen that the city Clerkbe instructed to write
to the Bank of Pasco instructing that concern to see t at the Pasco Cash Store
building east of the tracks be put in safe coiidition. I,i:,tion carried by
acclamation.
Clerk read petition for vacation of Nosler's East Riverside -addition to
Pasco.
Moved by Davis, seconded by Cady, that -t -e ,City Attorney invests;pate
Lind -ascertain what notice is necessary for the vacation petitioned for, and
tbkh the,-GitylC,lerk, give notice according to instructio..s received from the
City Attorney. Motion carried by acclamation.
Councilman Haylett reported that he had conferred with the manager of
the Pacific Power & bight Company and that the manager ha<l promised to do
away .with the dead ends east of the track, and that no further extension of
the pipe lines on Front Avenue be made at this time.
Mo --ed by Aldrich, seconded by Cady, that report of councilman H&ylett be
accepted. IeIotion lost. Ayes Aldrich and Cady. No. Davis, Sanderson,
Stinson and Olsen.
I,Ioved by Davis, seconded by :.ldrich that the committee be instructed to
continue by interviewing the officers of the Pacific Poz:er & Lifht Company and
ascertain whether or not if one additional hydrant be put in, they will extend
the pipe line on Front Avenue to supply the water users in that district.
