Moved by Chute, seconded by Haylett that letter of 3ashinr7ton Rating Bureau be answered by City Clerk, advising them that their instructions have been complied with and that Clerk order 500 feet of fire hose. Motion carried, all councilmen condurring. . Moved by Chute, sec riled by Cole, that the mayor be authorized to hire a street commissioner for one month at 5p125.00 per month. Moved by Cady, seconded by Jones, that committee be appointed to meet with Manager Strange of the Pacific Power & Light Company regarding change of lights asked for by Pacific Power & Light Company. Clerk read following resolution: "Resolved that Pacific Power & Light Company be and is hereby requested to install, maintain and operate under the city's present street lighting agreements with said company and for the remainder of the term thereof, twenty-eiF_ht (28) 400 Putt Type C.
