to write to pro7er authority and find opt the city's rights in regard to City
Park. Motion carried by acclamation.
Moved by Cady, seconded by Chute,tha* a committee of two or three courr ilmen
be appointed to mike re comTL- ndat ions for amending Ordinance No. 288. Motion
carried by acclamation.
Councilmen Cady reported that the City wat ring tronght were in bad co_ldition.
Mayor referred the matter to Fire and hater cormiittee.
Clerk read claim of R. B. I;icFarland for 5x100.00 for maintenance charges
against Local Improvement Districts No. 25, 43 and 44.
Moved by Cady, seconded by Allard that the claim of R. B. McFarland be
allowed and clerk is;-ue warrant to cover. IrIotion carried by acclamation.
Street Com�issioner James reported wooden sidewalk on Fourth Avenue
so-:th from Court Horse in bad condition.

to cinder streets immediately. Motion carried by acclamation.

July 16, 1914
Co-ncil met in regular session, the following maned conneilmen
answering roll call, viz: Allard, Cady, Chute, Haylett, Uipbs;
Councilman GibLs was elected Mayor Fro Tem to act in the absence of
Mayor ",7illison.
Clerk read minutes of im;etinF; of July 2nd.
Mayor '17illison arrived and took the chair. Ido objections being
raised, mayor ordered minutes approved as read.
Clerk read copy of letter written by the city attorney to the
"estorn Land Agent of the Northern Pacific Railroad Company regarding
city's rights in the City Park. City attorney reported no answer to
his communication.
Clerk read letter from S -a crintendent of Y. P. Ry Ccmrpny retarding
concessions proposed to be granted in City Park. Moved by Allard, seconded

on the table until further communication is receivel from the N. P. Ry Co.
