Pasco and co_1si It with hi'-: in regard to their terms for carrying on the litigation
with the Receiver of the Pa,,^co Reclamation Co. and Pasco Fruit Lands Co., that
they had not yet come to Pasco but expected to in the near future, at w _ich time
they would submit a proposal. Moved by Allard, seconded by Gibbs, that re»ort

having met in pursuance of notice -nd as required by law this first Monday
of October, 1917 for the purpose of fixing amount to be raised by taxation

that taxes be lavied on the assessed property of said city in amounts as folloris:

seconded by Bannerman, that councilman's Anderson's resignation be accepted.

Councilman Chute nominated Frank A. Jones as councilman to fill vacancy
created by resignation of councilman Anderson.
Moved by Bannorman, secorrled b:i Gibbs that nominations be closed.

elected as co-ncilman to fill va.cancy created by resignation of councilman

Frank A. Jones took oath of office as councilman, after -rhich he took
seat in council.
Loved by Bannerman, seconded by Chute that the mayor appoint a committee
of throe councilmen to go over tine old fire ordinance and mare recommendations
at the next regutlar meeting as to changes. 1:70tion ca_ried by acclamation.
