Moved by Holt, seconded by Allard, that the Clerk be instructed to isone
warrants on funds of Local Jmprovelent Districts Nos. 25, 43 and 44, for mainten-il
ance charges due to. the Pasco lVaterusers Corporation for the season of 1917, in
the total sum of •."2100.00, as partial payment. Liotion carried, all councilmen
concurring.
Mayor appointed a committee of two councilmen, consisting of Ha)7lett snd
Allard, to meet with tae Trustees of the Pasco ?Yaterusers Corporation at the
meetings of that corporation.

three to ask the Pacific Power & Light Company for a price for their present
water system in t`.e City.

City Atto-ney reported th•t no agreement ha:d been reached between
the m na.ge-rs of the Pacific Power & Light Comp- ny a.nd the Pacific Telephone
& Telegraph Comp-ny in rel -tion to the £i -•e alarm system.
Idoved by Holt, seconded by Heti that the m•^yor c.pnoint a committee
of two to see the manager of the Pacific Telephone & Telegr!ph Comp ny
in regard to the alarm system. Motion carried by acclaimtion. Hayor
appointed Hr_ylett & Bannerm n as committee to act, also to confer with
the Telephone coml.x-ny in reg rd to rep, iring broken sidew^lks :here the
da;nnge was done by the Telephone company.
Moved by B^mnermon, seconded by Chute th^t the city grant permission
to I;Ir. Welch to lay a two inch pipe from the center of the street in front
of Block 22, Helm's Second iLddition to P^sco, along Pacific Street and
across Pendleton Street to the corner of Block 19 in same addition. Motion
cc.rried by accl,mation.
Mr. Chute reported that as yet he had been unable to secure from the
Pacific Power & Light Company, a statement of ti -B value of their local
water system.
I:Ir. Hall, i5ancger of the Pacific Power & Light Comp- ny addressed the
colmcil, stating th t his comp,-ny was not at the present time in a. position
to set ^ price on their water plant and pipes.
Clerk read proposals from Civil engineers Burns & licDonnell, and
Cobb, in connection vt th establishment of ^ a municipal water pl:-nt.
