Clerk read bill in fr_vor of the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company
in the sum of ;6.00 for connecting up batteries to telephone line to Pacific
Poser & Light Company's pump house. Moved by Allard, seconded by Bannerman
that bill be al -'owed and clerk issue war, --ant to cover. Motion carried,
all councilmen concurring.

granting to Pacific Power & Light Company, a corporation, its successors and

assigns, for a period of 25 years, from the dtte of tl'e passage of this
ordinance, the right, privilege and franchise to lay, peace co n: est aintain,
and operate all neces,_ary or desirable nater mains, pip
fittings cnd appurtenances in the streets, avenues, alleys, lanes and
thoroughfares of the City of Pacco for the purpose of supplying the furnish-
in- the said City of Pasco and its inh,-bitants with w^ter, and to chcrge
providing for fire protection to the said City
