Clerk read minutes Of meeting of January 2nd, 1917. No objections being raised, mayor ordered minutes to stand approved as read. Clerk -read voucher in favor of Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company in the sum of ,16.20, for connecting alar system. Moved by Anderson, seconded by Hale tt that bill be allo Led in the amount claimed, less that portion uh ch is to be paid by the Pacific Po,er & Light Co., and clerk be instructed to issue warrant to cover. Motion carried, all councilmen concurring_. Committee appointed to take up the matter of levy for maintenance for L. I. Districts ides. 25, 43 ;nd 44 reported tht:t no action had been taken acco,7nt present co ztroversy over Recaamation water. Mayor instructed committee deicer report until next regillar meeting. Committee appointed to report on city's personal property reported that they had not yet finished their investigation. Mayor instructed committee to take two weeks' tore time and report at the next regular meeting. -Cor::mittee appointed to investigate the matter of the ry4000.00 insur-nee Policy on the city hall reported said policy rejected, and clerk reed com-nunicc- tion addressed to Cox -Cord Investment Co., ordering the policy cancelled. WHEREAS, the Board of COunty Comm`tsioners of Franklin County, con- template the improve:rnnt o £ certei n s tree is o f th e City of Pase o, as'; ing ton, under the permanent highway law of the State of oa.shington, whichsaid streets are hereinafter described; NO'- THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the .aid Board of County Commiss- ioners of said County be and are hereby authorized, to improve the follo.:ing described streets of said city, to -wit: Commencing at a point where North Fourth Avenue intersects with the North line of Henry Street in :aid city, thence southerly along said Fourth Avenue to its intersection with the i9est Lewis Street in said city, thence easterly along said .est Lewis Street in said city, Jkmmzx to the corpor to limits of such city; said improvement to be made in accordance with the plans and specifications to be approved by the State High. -:ay Commissioner. An Ordinance providing; for a method of DIsposition of gsrb- ge, rubbish, refuse and other zraster products, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof. The City Council of the City of Pasco, lWashington, do ordain as follows: Section 1. It shall be the duty of the head of every household and of the occupant of each and every building occupied for any purpose in the City of Pasco, to keep and meintain upon the said premises a tight :metal container
