Moved by Reardon, seconded by Holt, thct ordinance as read by the Clerk be declared to heave its first reading. Motion carried, all councilmen concurring. Moved by Steffins, seconded by Reardon, th^t ordinarce be given second reading by reading title of ordinmce only. Motion carried by acclamation. Clerk read minutes of regulsr ngeting of October 17th, --nd November 14th, Suggested by councilmen Steckel thtt minutes of meeting of taovember 14th be corrected, referring to the call for specitll sesdon of the council, in order that minutes of the meeting agree :,ith notice served on councilmen. Also that item of amount of warrant drawn for City Treasurer be corrected to read 995.00 inste-gid of $85.00 T�s read by clerk. Steckel in having changes made in the heating system of the city hall, be approved by a vote of the coukeil. Motion carried, all councilmen concurring. Third reading of Ordinance as follows, was had by clerk. ORDIN:?NCE No. 274. An Ordin�:nce fixing the SALARIES OF THE CITY ATTORNEY, CITY CLERK AND HEALTH OFFICER. The City COCi!CIL of the City of Pasco do ordiin as follows: Section 1. Thct beginning with the fiat d,y of J.nuary, 1917, the salary of the City attorney shall be ;,p20.00 (Twenty) Dollars per month. Section 2. Th. --t beginning with the first day of January 1917, the salary of the City Clerk shall be 5,,30.00 (Thirty) Dollars per month, ,nd there sh,7Jl be no allowance for assistance or office help except such as may from time to time be alloied by the council. Section 3. That beginning with January lst, 1917, the cal=ry of the City Health Officer shall be Five (�5) Dollars per mouth. Section 4. Thtt portion of Ordinance No. 262, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Mayor appointed Mrs. Geo. H. Hazzard as a rm:mber of the Library Board to fill vacancy caused by regisnation of .-.rs. P. F.
