Council met as per adjournment, Mayor Davis and Councilmen Falk, Holt and
Reardon being present. Not having a quorom, moved by Reardon, seconded by
Falk that council adjourn to meet at 7:30 o'clock July 21st. Motion carried.
Adjournment at 8:25 P. PQ.

Council met as per adjournment of Ju y 20th, the foll_Dwing named
councilmen answering roll call, viz: Falk, Holt, Reardon, Steckel, Sterfins.
Mayor Davis being absent, Council 1:eardon was di ly elected by the
members present to act as mayor protem.
Mr. Shear, representing the Pacific Telephone and 'Telegraph Company
appeared before the council and asked council to allow the telephone company
permission to leave the present pole line on Fourth Avenue south of Columbia
St.
Moved by StecIcel, seconded by �)teffin, , that the Pacific Telephone and
lekegr rph• Company be requested to remove the present line of telephone poles
and wires off of Fourth Avenue, and that Clerk give said company propertnotice
thereof. Motion csrrie d, ell councilmen voting in favor of same.
City Health Officer Dr. Elmore appeared before the co-.ncil and notified
council that the swimming pond on third street was in very bad condition
and that with a few necessary eh,nges same could be made sanitary. Moved
by Holt, seconded by Steffins, th t Dr. Elmore be empowered to make repairs
to the swimming tank as outlined by him to the council and to mske necessary
arrangements for the maintenance and care of same. Motion carried, all
councilmen voting in favor of same.
Motion to adjourn carried.
