Roll Call as follows, Aye: Steffins, Steckel, Augustavo, Reardon, Kenoyer, Motion carried and so ordered and said ordinance was given Number 2625 on the advise of the City Attorney that the Uity Clerk had no right to have a deputy, dhd that the Fire Chief could not be legally appointed to take care of the registration of the voters after the regular office hours of the Oity clerk, it was moved by R eardon, seconded by Augustavo, that the Oity Clerk be asked to hold the ofdice opem until 9 o'clock, 1. M. with the exception of one hour for supper after 6-30 o'clock. and that he be paid a reasonable compensation for such work. motion carried and so ordered.
