Pasco, Wash. October, 5th, 1915.
Council met in regular session and was tailed to order by i:iayor Zent.
Councilmen, Steffens, Auguszavo, Reardon, Kenoyer, Steckels, enswered
xoll ,all.
The Minutes of the meetings of dept, 7th, 9th, 21st and 25th were
reed.
Moved by Steifins, Seconded by Reardon, that said uom^univation be laid
on tiie table.
Motion carried and so ordered.
The reports of the Police Budge ,_end the Chief of rolice for the month
ending September, 30th, 1915, were read.
Moved by Augustavo, seconded by Steffins, that said reports be accepted
and placed on file,
Motion carried and so ordered.
A petition for a renewal of a Liquor License for the hotel Cunningham,
accompanied by a certified check for$221.80 for palance of 1915 and a bond
for same was read.
Moved by Steffins, seconded by Augustavo that said license be granted
Motion carried and so ordered.
The 3rd Quarterly report of the Gity Clerk, was read.
Moved by Augustavo, seconded by Steffins that said report be accepted
and placed on file.

is hereby instructed to advertise for bids for steam coal, to the amount
of 35 tons, 25 tons to be delivered at the City tall and 10, tons at the
city Library.

A proposed Ordinance entitled "All ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE NUldBER
OF POLICE OFr•ICERS IN THE CITY OF PASCO, AbID FI%INu TtHE SALARY OF THE SAME,
AND REPEALING SECTION I AND SECTION 5, OF ORDINANCE NUMBER, 98, ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE CREATING A POLICE DEPARTMENT AND itEGULATING THE SAME".was read.
Moved by Augustavo, seconded by =enoyer, that said proposed ordinance
be changed allowing the Chief of Police $100.00 for the balance of 1915.
Motion carried and so ordered, and Lhe city Att•rney changed said Ordinance
to confirm with the City Councilfs request and was again read.
Moved by Augustavo, seconded by :.enoyer, that said proposed ordinance
be declared to have had its first reading.
Mo$ion carried and so ordered.
Moved by Kenoyer, seconded by xeardon, that .aid proposed Ordinance
bread by title only for its second reading,

be declared to) have had its second reading.

Moved by Steffins, seconded by Kenoyer, that Councilman Steckel be
appointed to take the same place on al- of the Committees as ex Councilman
Seute.
Moved oy xeardon seconded by augustavo, that Councilman Steffin's
motion be amended as follows, that Councilman Steffins take the place of
ex Councilman Seute on all committees, except th Street & Alley Committee
and that Councilman Kenoyer be ap-ointed *a� chairman of said committee.
