Moved uy 6ieffins, seconded uy lienoyer, that said Com_:runicatiion us referred to the City Attorney, Liotion carried and so ordered, and the City Attorney ordered same filed with the City Clerk. A Petition for a renewal of a Liquor License by J. R. r'ields, was read. Moved by r_ame, seconded uy i�teifins, teat :.aid .renewal of Liquor License be granted and License issued upon the approval of the bond uy the city Atty. Motion carried and so ordered. Moved by =eardon, seconded by j�.enoyer;i that the matter of leasing the River Columbia/Locks be referred to councilman Steifins, as chairman mf the Dock Committee, and that he see what can be done with the boat company in the way of repair to said Locks. Motion carried and so ordered. A Supplemental Assessment Roll for Local Improvement Listrict iio. 19, was presented, Mhved by L.enoyer, seconded ,,y LLeardon, that said assessment roll be referred to the City Autorney, Motion carried and so ordered. 1doved oy Greame, seconded by Augustavo, that the city Attorney oe and is hereby instructed to prepare an uedinance creating Parks out of the Parking :,trips. Motion carried and so ordered. Moved by beuue, sec nded by Augustavo, thai une City Attorney be and is hereu,, instructed to prepare an Ordinance Creating the gffice of Patrol- man, and the number to be employed and the Salary to be drawn by said Partolman, but number df Partolmen and amount drawn ue left blank. Motion carried and so ordered. The Mayor appointed Louos Kleeb, Mrs. J. M. Arnett, and C. M. O'Brien as a Park CommisUion. Loved oy Ureame, seconded by behmidtman, that the Mayors appointment for a Park Commission be confirmed by the Council Motion carried and so ordered. Moved by Ureame, seconded by iieardon, that the matter of the number of men to/be used for the care of the &arks and parking btrips be left to the judgement of the Park Commission,as lon# as there were not more than two men used, Motion carried and so ordered. Lioved by "u4rdon, seconded by zeute, that the Park om,^iSSinA be allowed a salary of 42.75 per day for each man employed on the Parks and parking :,trips. Motion carried and so ordered. Moved by lienoyer, seconded by Augustavo, that all Committees be elected as they were before the passage of ordinance Ho.254. Motion carried unanimous, and was so ordered. A Petition, was presented by Gerard ityzek, asking for a reduction Of Licenses on Motion Pictures and rreatres,Praying said License be cut from 450.00 to $15.00 per year. Moved by iceardon, seconded by beute, that said petition be referred to the Police and License Committee. Motion carried and so ordered. On motion duly carded uouncil Adjourned. ATTEST: 255
