Councilman, Greame, Whitehotn, Leasure, Driscoll, answered Roll Call. Moved by Greame, seconded by Whitehorn, that the Oity Clerk be and is he hereby instructed to issue warrants in payment of said bills and charge same to L. I. D. Ido. 50. and that the Citi Clerk, and Mayor be instructed to draw warrants in payment of all Labor claims of L. I. D. No. 50. on the City Engineer's 0. K. of time. Council met in special session for the purpose of canvasing the ballots of the municipal election held in the City of Pasco oii the 30th day of June, 1814, and was called th order by Hayor Zent. The following Councilmen, Leasyre, Whitehorn, Adams, briscoll, answered Roll Call. After the canvas of the votes they were found to be as follows, 199 for the Validation of out standing warrants and the issuance if bonds for finding same, and 85 totes against the same proposition, As there was a majority of 3/5ths or more votes in favor of the proposition it was declared to have carried, arad the following resolution was presented by Councilman Adams. R E S O L U T I O N. A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE SPECIAL IdUiIICIPAL ELACTION HELD IN THE CITY OF PASCO, ON TUESDAY, THE THIRTIETH DAY OF JUNE, A. D. 1914. TIL, CITY COUITCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: on WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance ITo. 234 of the City of asco, adopted and approved the nineteenth day of I.1ay, A. D. 1914, a special election was held in the said City on Tuesday, the thirtieth day of June, A. D. 1914, at which election there was submitted to the vote of the duly qualified electors of the City, the question of validating certain outstanding indebtedness of the City in the aggregate amount of Twenty Four Thousand Pout Hundred Forty Dollars and Eighty Five Cents, 024,440.85), together with accured interest on said sum at the rate of eight per centum (81;7o- per aurum from the date of the presentation of each of the warrants comprising the said out- standing indebtedness to the day of the date of the proposed funding bonds of the City With which to take up and cancel so much of said outstanding indebtedness as should be ratified at said election; and; WHEREAS, all of said iputstanding indebtedness was ratified and validated at "Cid,election and funding bonds authorized for the purpose of taking up and cancelling the indebtedness so ratified: NOW THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Franklin County, Vlashington: 1. That the special election of the duly qualified electors of the City of Pasco, Washington, called pursuant to Ordinance Be. 234 of said City and hsld on Tuesday, the thirtieth daof June, A. D. 1914, was called and held in all respects pursuant to law. Q 2. That at said election a total of 231 legal ballots were cast upon and in answer to the question submitted; that 196 of the legal ballots cast on said question mere for the validation and in favor of issuing funding bonds, that 35 of t7le legal ballots cast on said question were against validation and against issuing f-nding bonds. 3.
