The Followinz Councilmen answered Roll Call, Greame, Adams, Leasure, Kenoyer, Fihitehorn. Councilman Driscoll had previously asked the I:Iayor to be excused from this meeting. 1.1oved by Adams, seconded by dhitehorn, that Councilman Driscoll be excused from this meeting. ISotion carried and so orde •ed. The ISinntes of the following previous meetings were read, January, 6th, 13th,and 20th, 1914. ]-loved by Adams, seconded by l7hitehorn, that the mimes of the foregoing meetings be approved as read. I.1otion carried and so ordered. A Proposed Ordinance entitled, "Ali ORDINAiTCE PROVIDIIIG FOR A SPECIAL calling for an Ordinance ELECTION TO RATIFY AND VALIDATE THE INDEBTEDNESS OF TEE CITY OF PASCO, EVIDEN(i s election, 1st reading CED BY WARRANES UPOD THE GEIERAL FUIID FROLi NO. A 1471 TO NO. A 2176 INCLUSIVE, AND TO FUIM BY ISSUING BONDS THEREFDR-SUUH PORTION OF SAID II1jDEBTEDIIES AS 11AY BE VALIDATED, AND PROVIDING FOR TSE IS':,UANCE OF BONDS IN CASE OF THE VALIDATION OF SAID DEBT AID THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE ISSUE OF SUCH BONDS, was read. The Title of the said proposed Ordinance was read, Moved by ihitehorn, seconded by Adams, that the said proposed Ordinance be declared to have had its second reading. notion ca_ried and so ordered. ];_atter of Regrade Loved by Greame, seconded by Whitehorn, that the matter Of Regrade Damage damage postponed indefinately in Local Improvement Distrists Nos.21 & 22 which were paid out of the General Fund, be laid on the table indefinitely, for the reason that the property within said Districts is at present heavily encumbered with Loval Improvement District taxes. R E S 0 L U T I 0 11 -Aesolution, adppted UHSREAS, the Pacific Power & Light Company, a Copporatio'�, has submitted a proposition to the City of Pasco, relative to furnishing light to the cluster lights of the City of Pasco, ii06J T:'E__L;FORE, the City Council of the City of Pasco, do resolve "that the Pacific Pourer S: Light Company, be instructed to cease furnishing light on February 1st, 1914 to Forty Two poles of the cluster light system of the Pesolution City of Pasco, cutting out each alternate pole; that the electricity be instructing the Pacific furnished to forty trio poles at a price pf Eleven Hundred and Seventy Sia Power F: Light company to dollars per anum,as poles are how installed; payment to be made monthly; ceaeeo f-,rnishr ¢2gpolestofothe maintainance tis be the same as under the present cluster light contract, cluster light i three lights burning from dusk to daylight; that the present contract be cons - system now in use and makingi idered as no longer of my effort. a price for the 42 still in Passed and approved this 27t# day of January, 1914. use.
