Council met in regular session at 8 o'clock P. M. In the absence of i:iayor
Sylvester, councilman IT. R. Sylvester called the meeting to order, and on
motion duly carried J. 17. Hurt was nominated as I:iayor Pro tem and unanimously
elected. He being declared elected tool: the chair and presided at the meet-
ing.
