I am here:=ith handing you copy of a letter from the Street and Alley Committee of the City of Pasco instructing me to take up the matter of the removal of all poles from Fourth Street between the Villard Hotel -and the Northern Pacific Depot to some other suitable location. I would be pleased to have you call at my office at your earliest convenience at which tine we will take up this matter and determine the most suitable location, for the poles nece99ary to be removed. CITY ENGINEER PASCO, WASH. February 21, 1912. At the regular meeting of the City Council on Feb- ruary 20th vie, the undersigned Street and Alley Committee, were empowered with authority to act relative to the removal of all poles from Fourth Street between the Villard Hotel and the depot to some other suitable location. You are hereby instructed to take this matter up with all parties concerned, ordering them to remove all poles at the earliest possible date. Yours Street and Alley Committee. 1 -- Fonorable Mayor and City Council, Pasco, Washington. Gentlemen: March 9, 1912. ATTENTION. STREET AND ALLEY COMMITTEE. Scme time ago I wac instructed by the Street and Alley Committee to order the Pacific Pcwer and Light Company and the Lwin -.City Telephone Company to remove light and telephone poles from Fourth Str;et so far as th=y affected Local Irmorovement District ho. 40. I am attaching herewith copy of notice servad by me upon both the Fauific Power and Light Company and the Twin City Telephone Compary, together with a letter from Mr. R. A. Klinge, President of the Telephona Company, in which he advises me that the Street and Alley Committee have rescinded this order. Will you kindly instruct me as to 11hat steps I Shall take in this matter.
