A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S
RECOMMENDATION AND APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR THE
LOCATION OF A MODULAR OFFICE AT FIRE STATION 81.
WHEREAS, Pasco Public Works Department on behalf of the Fire Department,
submitted an application for the location of a modular office at Fire Station 81; and,
WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 16, 2015 to
review the proposed modular office application; and,
WHEREAS, following deliberations on the matter the Planning Commission
recommended approval of a Special Permit for the proposed modular office with certain
conditions; NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
1. That a Special Permit is hereby granted for the location of a modular office at Fire
Station 81 under Master File# SP2015-004 with the following conditions:
a) The special permit shall apply to Franklin County tax parcel# 112104035;
b) The site shall be developed in substantial conformance with the site plan
submitted with the Special Permit application;
c) The modular office shall be pit set and installed per manufacturers
specification;
d) The modular office shall be painted to match or complement the existing
Fire Station on the site;
e) If the on-site garbage dumpster enclosure is to be relocated the Fire
Department must coordinate with Basin Disposal on the relocation of said
enclosure;
f) A separate sewer service is required per PMC 13A.52.140;
g) The water meter must be located in the right-of-way following Standard 2-
34;
h) A shrubbery sight screen shall be installed along the eastern end of the
modular office.
i) The Special Permit shall be null and void if a building permit has not been
obtained by May 1, 2016. •
