January 14, 2015 I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER: II. 5:15—ROLL CALL: Present Marilynn Baker, Malin Bergstrom, Tom Brandon, Dan Stafford, Devi Tate. III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: December 10, 2014 - Approved as amended IV. 5:20—OLD BUSINESS: A. None V. PUBLIC HEARINGS: A. None VI. WORKSHOP: A. Staff updated the Commission on the Certified local Government Application (Handout: blank CLG Certification Agreement). B. ""Mock Hearing" preparation (Delayed) VII. 5:30—OTHER BUSINESS: A. Commissioner Bergstrom shared plans for a WWII history bus tour for up to 25 people to take place June 13, 2015 during the 3-day WWII flying aircraft display at Bergstrom Aircraft. Venues should include the Hanford Reach, the Franklin County Historical Museum, NAS Pasco Air Control Tower, and the East Benton County Historical Museum. Tickets will be around $60/person. B. The Commission is planning on inviting City Manager Dave Zabell and Washington State Railroads Historical Society President Tom Gronewald to the March Historic Preservation meeting for an intro to the history of Pasco; Commissioners will prepare a Pasco History PowerPoint Slideshow with talking points, as follows: a) Commissioner Baker: Ainsworth Town; Cemetery b) Commission Chair Stafford: Railroad; Big Pasco c) Commissioner Brandon: Schools d) Commissioner Tate: Moore Mansion e) Commissioner Bergstrom: NAS Pasco fl Staff: Integrate into PowerPoint Presentation, PDF handout. The Slideshow will also be posted on the HPC webpage. C. Commissioner Baker shared a draft Railroad Museum promotional flyer for Commission review and comment. VIII. 7:00—ADJOURNMENT
