REGULAR MEETING 5:15 P.M. December 10, 2014
I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER:

Tom Brandon, Malin Bergstrom (Excused).
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
November 12, 2014—Approved as amended
IV. 5:20—OLD BUSINESS:
A. None
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. None
VI. WORKSHOP:
A. Staff updated the commission on the progress of the Certified Local
Government Application; letter certifying the City has put forth a good faith
effort to recruit trained professionals to the Commission
B. Commissioners discussed requirements for recommending properties for
recognition on the local, state, and national registers of historic properties;
"Mock Hearing" preparation for Dan Stafford property.
VII. 5:55—OTHER BUSINESS:
A. Progress Report: Commissioners Baker and Stafford met with Washington
State Railroads Historical Society President Tom Gronewald to discuss draft
flyers and new site plan for RR Museum.
B. Commissioner Stafford shared a hand-colored Pasco Railroad postcard, circa
1907-1908 with commissioners, staff.
C. Commissioner Baker expressed a desire to explore the possibility of an early
spring meeting with City Manager Dave Zabell.
D. Commissioner Baker requested that staff create a thank-you letter for Gean
Cox.
