REGULAR MEETING 5:15 P.M. June 11, 2014
I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER:

III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
May 14, 2014—approved.
IV. 5:20—OLD BUSINESS:
A. None
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. None
VI. WORKSHOP:
A. Commissioners discussed changes in proposed Historic Preservation Code
Amendment including language requiring properties listed on the City of
Pasco Register of Historic Resources to be recorded with the Franklin County
Recorder's Office, and decisions of the Commission acting on waivers of
Certificates of Appropriateness and any application for classification as
historic property to be appealed to a hearing examiner. The Commission
unanimously approved the changes.
B. Commissioners discussed and unanimously approved of language in Section
IV.C.6 of the Bylaws stating that "ballots not returned shall be regarded as
implied consent and shall be tallied as in favor of the formation of the local
historic district."
VII. 6:20—OTHER BUSINESS:
A. Progress Report - Commissioner Baker agreed to meet with Valoria Loveland
et al., to further discuss negotiations with BNSF regarding the vacant
property between Lewis and "A" Street from 10th to 14th Avenue.
B. Motions: Commission voted unanimously to Cancel July and September 2014
HPC Meeting, due to scheduling conflicts.
