REGULAR MEETING 5:15 P.M. April 9, 2014
I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER:
II. 5:15—ROLL CALL: Present: Present: Malin Bergstrom, Tom Brandon, Dan
Stafford, Devi Tate; Absent: Marilynn Baker (Excused). Visitors: Jim Rabideau
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
February 12, 2014 - Approved.
IV. 5:20—OLD BUSINESS:
A. None
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. None
VI. WORKSHOP:
A. Commissioners expressed a desire to increase the potential size of the
commission in order to allow Jim Rabideau to apply for a commission seat
without displacing any current commissioners.
B. Commissioner Bergstrom made a motion that the Historic Preservation
Commission recommend that the City Council adopt the revisions to the
Historic Preservation ordinance as shown in the attached "Exhibit A" with the
added verbiage in section 27.070.020 stating that the commission be
composed "of not less than five (5) and not more than seven (7) members" and
adding any wording required to make the rest of Title 27 consistent with this
change of verbiage. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Brandon. Motion
carried unanimously.
C. Commissioners had no changes to make on their resumes for the CLG
Application;
D. Staff was assigned to update Title 27 as noted above.
VII. 5:55—OTHER BUSINESS:
A. Progress Report - No news for the WSRHS Museum Advisory committee.
