HomeMy WebLinkAbout3581 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO.� A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATION AND APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR A CHURCH AT 1734 NORTH 5TH AVENUE. WHEREAS, Casa de Avivamiento submitted an application for the location of a church to be located at 1734 North 5th Avenue (Lots 4 to 7, Block 1, Holt's Addition; Parcel #113 391 027); and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 19, 2014 to review the proposed church; and, WHEREAS, following deliberations on July 24, 2014 the Planning Commission recommended approval of a Special Permit for the church with certain conditions; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: 1. That a Special Pen-nit is hereby granted to Casa de Avivamiento for the location of a church in a C -1 (Retail Business) District under Master File # SP 2014 -006 with the following conditions: a. The Special Pennit shall apply to Tax Parcel #113 391 027 (1734 North 5th Avenue); b. The church shall not object to the issuance, transfer, or renewal of a liquor license for an existing or new establishment within 1,000 feet of the property; c. The applicant shall comply with all building code requirements for the occupancy class applicable to the use; d. Paved and striped parking shall be provided at the rate of one space for each four seats based upon maximum seating capacity or at least one space for every ten lineal feet of bench seating, as per PMC 25.78.170(2); e. Landscaped areas shall be restored and maintained, as per PMC 25.75. f. The Special Permit shall be null and void if an occupancy registration has not been obtained by August 30, 2015.
