Gonzales from Desert Pleateau subdivision spoke in favor of the planning
effort, saying he was "really excited about the document itself," but suggested
that there be more of a public outreach. Prompted by Commissioner Baker he
stated that he found out about the meeting through the City website; was
disappointed that the announcement was not on flyers in local neighborhoods
and restaurants, through social media (Twitter, Facebook), Tri-City Herald
and DPDA website. Commission Chair Stafford agreed, noting that sometimes
the only notification is in legal ads.
After three calls Commission Chair Stafford closed the hearing.

and spoke in favor of the Plan. Commissioner Bergstrom seconded
Commissioner Brandon's comments.
Commissioner Baker invited Ms. Judy Beeler from 504 N 61h Ave to speak
about her railroad house at 712 W Yakima St. and her current house, as well
as the positive community structure in downtown Pasco.

Preservation Plan by City Council. Commissioner Bergstrom seconded the
motion. The motion was approved unanimously.

Council in a workshop on October 281h 2013, followed by consideration for
