A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO
CONSIDER VACATING A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED STREET IN THE NP
PLAT.
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where it serves the
general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights -of -way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be fixed by
Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider vacating that portion of an unnamed street in the NP
Plat located south of Columbia Street and east of First Avenue described as follows:
The south 40 feet of right -of -way located between the east line of First Avenue and the
west line of the BNSF railroad right -of -way in the northwest quarter of the northwest
quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter and the south half of the south
half of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section
29, Township 9 North, Range 29 East, WM.
will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers at 525 N.
Third Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on November 4, 2013. That the City
Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 7th day of October, 2013.
