REGULAR MEETING 5:15 P.M. April 10, 2013

II. 5:15—ROLL CALL: Present: Marilynn Baker, Tom Brandon, Dan Stafford,
Devi Tate; Absent: Dave Dalthorp (Excused). Guest: Malin Bergstrom.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

VI. WORKSHOP:
A. Teresa Brum presented the Commission with a "kick-off' PowerPoint
presentation as an initiation to the Historic Preservation Planning Process,
discussing the purposes of historic preservation, the people involved, the
reasons for practicing historic preservation, what might be preserved, and
how it should be done, including a survey and historic register. Incentives and
regulations were discussed as the "carrot and stick" of preservation efforts.
Ms. Brum proposed a timeline with each of the landmark dates and events
outlined. Commissioners to be given an assignment to evaluate a list of
concerns and proposed options on how to handle historic preservation issues
in Pasco.
