A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S
RECOMMENDATION AND APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR A WATER
INTAKE FACILITY AT 11412 WEST COURT STREET
WHEREAS, the Pasco Public Works Department submitted an application for the
location of a water intake facility at 11412 W. Court Street (Tax Parcel 118221111); and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 16, 2013 to
review the water intake facility; and,
WHEREAS, following deliberations on June 20, 2013 the Planning Commission
recommended approval of a Special Permit for the water intake facility with certain
conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
1. That a Special Permit is hereby granted to the City of Pasco Public Works
Department for the location of a water intake facility in a RT (Residential
Transition) District under Master File # SP2013 -011 with the following
conditions:
a. The special permit shall apply to Parcel No. 118221111.
b. The water intake and pumping facility shall be developed in
substantial conformity with the site plan and building elevations
submitted with the special permit application.
c. Landscaping shall conform to the landscape plan submitted with the
application.
d. Construction of the building must conform in every detail related to
the installation of noise attenuating devices and equipment.
e. The special permit shall be null and void if a building permit has not
been obtained by January 1, 2015.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 15`" day of July, 2013.
