REGULAR MEETING 5:15 P.M. January 11, 2012
I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER:

Present: Marilynn Baker, David Dalthorp, Chair Dan Stafford, and Guest
Rick Venable from the FCHS; Staff: Jeff Adams
Absent: Bradyn Leyde.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A. December 14, 2011
IV. 5:20—OLD BUSINESS:
a) The Commission decided to tentatively plan on March 61h for the "No
Cookie Social," to be held at the Franklin County historical Museum. City
Council Members will be invited to attend. The joint
commissions/committees will discuss the possibility of an historic district
and the design and organization of a railroad museum.
b) Three letters were submitted for review by the Commission (see attached)
concerning the above item #a;
(1) A letter representing the Commission to Pasco City Manager Gary
Crutchfield proposing an Historic District and the possibility of
establishing a new Railroad Museum;
(2) A letter from the Washington State Railroad Historical Society (WSRHS)
in support of the above proposals; and
(3) A letter from the Pasco School District Vocational Building Programs
(Bulldog House) in support of the above proposals and tentatively
offering construction support for a new railroad museum.
