On-going services, activities and classes
o Free Foot Care: For seniors 60 years of age or older that reside in Franklin
County or Burbank is offered at the Pasco Senior Center. An appointment is
necessary and can be made by calling 545-3459. There is no charge however a
suggested donation of $10 per person is gladly accepted.
o Walking: Monday through Friday, 8 – 10 am in the multi-purpose room
o Enhance Fitness (ages 40 +): An exercise program designed for mature
individuals, focusing on stretching, flexibility, balance, low impact aerobics and
strength training. This program is an evidence-based senior exercise program
developed and managed by the University of Washington Health Promotion
Research Center, Senior Services of Seattle/King County and Group Health
Cooperative.

o AARP Driver Safety Program (ages 50+): $12 AARP member / $14 non-
members payable to the instructor on the first day of class. To reserve your class

o China Painting: Learn the art of Painting on Porcelain. This is an open class so
there is no instructor however the more experienced painters would be happy to
help you. Students must provide all supplies. This class is provided by the Pasco
Senior Association, a non-profit, 501C3 organization.

o Dance, Dance, Dance (ages 40+): Enjoy live music from the Columbia River
Dance Band. Sponsored by the Pasco Senior Citizen’s Association.

o Meals on Wheels: Enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch. Reservations are
required 24 hours in advance and may be made by calling 509-543-5706. *$2.75
suggested donation for seniors 60+.

o Spring Bazaar: This indoor event promises to be an exciting and fun day with
vendors from around the area showcasing their products. Come check us out as
you’re sure to find items for all occasions. Free Admission

Vendor Registration: If you are a vendor and would like to take part in our
Spring Bazaar please call or pick up an application at the Pasco Senior Center.
Please indicate the kind of items you will be selling during the event. Vendors
must read and sign the waiver which indicates what items are not allowed.

o Trashion Show-Free To All Age: This year’s fashion show has a twist! The
Pasco High School Fashion Marketing Class will be creating one-of-a-kind fashions
from recycled clothing and other materials. This show promises to be one to
remember. Snacks and beverages will be provided by the Pasco High School
Commercial Foods Class.

o Mary Poppins: Featuring the irresistible story and unforgettable songs from one
of the most popular Disney films of all time, plus brand-new breathtaking dance
numbers and spectacular stage-craft, MARY POPPINS is everything you could ever
want in a hit Broadway show! So get swept up in the fun of this high -flying
musical the New York Post gives 4 out of 4 stars and calls “a perfect piece of
musical theater.” We’ll travel by motorcoach to Spokane and partake in a
delicious dinner at Anthony’s Homeport Restaurant before enjoying the production
of Mary Poppins. Fee includes transportation, dinner, gratuity, and Broadway
ticket (orchestra seating rows K, L, and M).

o Selling Your Home 101 (ages 18+):Topics include: How to choose the right
agent, the pros and cons of “For Sale by Owner”, knowing what it will cost you to
sell your home, understanding the local market, interest rates and how it affects
buyers and sellers, and market price increases and decreases.

o Marketing and Staging Your Home (ages 18+): Topics include: Different
types of marketing for your home, the internet, technology and current buyer
trends, what type of marketing works and why, how staging plays an important
factor in selling your home, what are some of the specific steps in staging, how to
separate yourself from the home when selling, curb appeal, and buyers perception
of a staged home.

o Mariner’s Baseball (ages 18+): Join us for an exciting match up at Safeco
Field when the Seattle Mariners take on the Oakland Athletics! Tickets are in the
100 level. Trip fee includes round trip transportation and tickets to the game.
Please bring additional money for food and souvenirs.
