Pledge of Allegiance III. Approval of the October 11, 2011 meeting minutes. IV. ALTC program updates for October 2011. V. Senior Center highlights and discussion  On-going services, activities and classes o Free Foot Care for seniors 60 years of age or older and reside in Franklin County or Burbank is offered at the Pasco. An appointment is necessary and can be made by calling 545-3459. There is no charge however a suggested donation of $10 per person is gladly accepted. o FREE Hearing Screening – this free service provided by Columbia Basin Hearing and Balance Center is now being conducted once per quarter. The next Hearing Screening is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13th beginning at 11:30 am. In addition to the hearing screening, you can also have your hearing aids cleaned and a performance check-up performed. An appointment is necessary and can be made by calling 545-3459. o The Pasco Senior Center’s multi-purpose room is open Monday – Friday from 8 – 10 am for walking. 16 laps around the room are equal to approximately 1 mile. Can’t get here in the morning to walk? Give us a call and we’d be happy to let you walk at other times of the day if the room is available.  Upcoming events, activities and classes o All City of Pasco offices are closed Monday, December 26th to celebrate Christmas and again on Monday, January 2nd to celebrate the New Year’s holiday. o New session of Enhance Fitness begins January 4th and runs until January 30th. There will be no class Monday, January 16th. Cost is $26 for City of Pasco residents and $39 for non-residents. o AARP Driver Safety Courses are scheduled for the following dates: January 18 & 19, 2012 February 15 & 16, 2012 Pre-registration is required. To register please call 545-3459. o Semi-Formal Christmas Dance – Wednesday, December 14th from 1 – 4 pm. Enjoy an enchanted evening in our beautifully decorated hall. Dance to your favorite holiday music from the Columbia River Dance Band, and enjoy the company of others as we share the Holiday Spirit. Live music and dancing begins at 1 pm and continues until 4 pm. Cost is $5 per person. o Rolling Hills Chorus presents its annual Friends and Family Christmas Program – Thursday, December 15th, 6:30 – 8 pm at the Pasco Senior Center. This is a FREE program filled with wonderful holiday music sung by the amazing Ladies of the Rolling Hills Chorus. Refreshment will be served. o Chili Feed – Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 12 pm. Our cooks make some of the best chili anywhere! Along with the chili we will be serving corn bread, dessert and beverages. Cost is $4 per person. Pre-registration is required. Registration begins December 13th. You may register in person at the Pasco Senior Center, Pasco Recreation Services office or on line at www.pascoparksandrec.com. For more information call 545-3456.
