ADMINISTRATIVE ORDERS

purpose: To provide customers of City Hall adequate parking space at locations convenient to customer
activity centers/service counters. Further, to notify employees where they are to park their
vehicles during work hours in order to assure that this adequate parking is available, in
convenient locations, for the customers of City Hall.
Policv:
■ Employees are hereby directed not to park in areas designated (by yellow painted curbs) for
customers and/or visitors. (See map attached.)
■ City vehicles are not to be parked in spaces marked visitor or handicapped and should be parked
in the far east portion of the City Hall (cast) parking lot.
• Contract employees or employees of other entities assigned to a work site within the Pasco City
Hall environs are to follow the same parking restrictions and requirements as regular employees
of the City of Pasco.
Exceptions:
• Employees with handicapped parking permits may park their personal and City vehicles in
handicapped designated slots.
• Certain parking slots on the north side of the East parking lot will be designated as "30 minute
only or by Permit". Swing shift employees will be issued permits in order to park in these spaces
upon arrival for work.
■ Field employees may use designated visitor spaces for City vehicles if time at City Hall will be
less than 30 minutes.
Designated areas reserved for customers and visitors: 8 a.m. — 5 p.m., Monday-Friday
• East parking lot: parking slots designated for handicapped, unless authorized by state permit
■ East parking lot: parking slots designated for visitors
• South side of Nixon Street in the visitor-designated angled parking
• East side of P Avenue, in front of City Hall (between Nixon and Sylvester)
