SUBJECT: PASCO LIBRARY: MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES .
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY , the following maintenance responsibilities are defined:
I . Maintenance Contract at Pasco Library . The Mid- Columbia Regional
Library shall have the responsibility to administer the inside maintenance
contract at the Pasco Library . This shall include the responsibility to
make sure that the contract terms are being consistently carried out . The
Director , or her designate , of the Regional Library , shall be the point of
contact for this purpose .
II . Maintenance of Grounds at Pasco Library , The Parks and Recreation
Department shall have the full responsibility for maintenance of the grounds
around the Library . The Director of Parks and Recreation , or his
designate , shall be the point of contact with respect to the maintenance of
the grounds around the Library , The Director of the Regional Library will
be asked to appoint a contact at the Pasco Library , which name will be
provided to the Director of Parks and Recreation for purposes dealing with
maintenance of grounds around the library .
III . Irrigation System/Other Major Repairs at Pasco Library . Depending on
financial resources , the City will handle these concerns through budget
appropriations from year to year . The Director of the Regional Library
shall deal directly with the City Manager on major repair needs .
j:V . Minor Repairs at Pasco Library . Minor repairs will be handled by the
Pasco Library staff with the responsibility for this purpose to be
determined by the Regional Director , who will spend funds for this purpose
within the constraints of the annual operating budget for the Library .
