A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK PERFORMED BY WATTS
CONSTRUCTION, INC., UNDER CONTRACT FOR THE 2009 SEWER EXTENSION —
ROAD 34 &ELLA, PROJECT#09-1-02.
WHEREAS, the work performed by WATTS CONSTRUCTION, INC., under contract
for the 2009 Sewer Extension — Road 34 & Ella, Project #09-1-02, has been examined by
Engineering and has been found to be in apparent compliance with the applicable project
specifications and drawings, and
WHEREAS, it is Engineering recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the
contractor's work and the project as complete; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, that the
City Council concurs with Engineering recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed
by WATTS CONSTRUCTION, INC., under contract for the 2009 Sewer Extension—Road 34 &
Ella, Project #09-1-02, as being completed in apparent conformance with the project
specifications and drawings, and
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to notify the Washington
State Department of Revenue of this acceptance, and
Be It Further Resolved, that the final payment of retainage being withheld pursuant to
applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction
of same and verification thereof by the Public Works Director and Finance Manager.

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO
CONSIDER THE VACATION OF THE NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY IN BLOCK 137,
PASCO LAND COMPANY'S FIRST ADDITION
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where it serves the
general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of-way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be fixed by
Resolution,NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider vacating the north/south alley in Block 137 Pasco Land
Company's First Addition, will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the
Council Chambers at 525 N. Third Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on
November 15, 2010. That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing
as required by law.
